Scrapbooking Stamps and Stickers
One of the best ways to save time and improve the appearance of your scrapbook pages is through the use of stamps and stickers. You can create unique and one-of-a-kind designs with ease. A child can even decorate their own scrapbook pages! There is a large variety of stamps to choose from. Alphabet stamps help with your lettering needs. Find stamps with a beautiful cursive script or even block lettering. By using character-based stamps, you can create a professional look. Try working in layers. Add embellishments to pages and use creative stamping on those. Create borders and accents by repeating stamps around the edges of the pages. Enjoy trying different stamping techniques and contrasting ink colors. Stamps make it very easy to put together pages based on a Holiday theme too. Whether for Christmas or Valentine's day, you can find a great stamp set. Inkadinkado has some wonderful Clear on Clear Stamp sets which give a designer look. You can use stamps to customize pages and even create a theme to blend all your scrapbook pages together. I also like the stamps and sets by Rusty Pickle and 7 Gypsies. Scrapbooking stickers are also a way to give some special flair to your pages, while saving time! Be sure that the stickers you use are acid and lignin free. Start a collection of a variety of stickers so you'll always have some on hand when you are building your scrapbook pages. Some of my favorite brands of include Around The Block, All My Memories, and Carolee's Creations.
