5 Ideas For Scrapbook Paper Storage

Defined Tag:

One of the essential elements of any scrapbook project is the scrapbook paper. Most scrapbook enthusiasts have loads of paper on hand, both full size and the little odds and ends from previous projects. That paper can become ruined if it is not stored properly and even little scraps of paper can be turned into beautiful tags and cards. Keep your scrapbook paper in useable condition while at the same time easily found when you need it to work on a project. With today’s organization tools for scrapbooking, you have many options for keeping your supplies neat:

Stackable paper trays. These stackable trays come in a variety of sizes. The best ones are those that hold the 12 x 12 papers. You can find units that only have 5 shelves or allow you to stack individual units together so you have even more room to store paper.

Scrapbook paper holder. These paper holders look a lot like the magazine holders you see at the library. They hold 12 x 12 sized paper. These particular holders fit neatly on a bookshelf or on your scrapbook desk.

Portable tote. If you scrap a lot on the go, or if your storage space is limited, then some of the portable scrapbook totes offer a solution you might enjoy. Spacious and roomy, these portable totes have pockets and cubbies for holding all your scrapbooking supplies in one convenient location. An added plus is that a lot of these totes are on wheels, which makes moving your scrapbooking supplies a snap!

Hanging file folders. Another convenient paper storage solution is a file cube with hanging file folders in a 12 x 12 size. These allow easy access for your scrapbooking papers, and can handle a variety of paper sizes.

Vertical storage file. Storing your scrapbook paper in a vertical storage unit will allow you to maximize your scrapbooking space. These units accomodate the hanging file folders too so it’s nice to know you have several options in using them.
